About the IAPD Charitable Foundation Scholarship
The IAPD Charitable Foundation was established to develop and administer the annual IAPD Scholarship Program at the undergraduate and graduate levels, provide scholarship opportunities to children of IAPD member company employees and member company employees and to promote the study of fields related to the performance plastics industry. This program benefits both deserving students and academic institutions while also helping to channel outstanding personnel into employment within the performance plastics industry.
About the Howard J. Natal Scholarship
The Howard J. Natal Scholarship was established in 2025 in honor of Howard Natal, who served as IAPD President from 2010 to 2011. One of his greatest passions was supporting the IAPD Scholarship Program. Following his tenure on the IAPD Board of Directors, Executive Committee and the IAPD Charitable Foundation Board of Trustees, Natal dedicated his volunteer service to the Foundation’s Scholarship Committee, ultimately serving as its chair. Though he passed away at a young age, his legacy continues to inspire the association and the performance plastics industry. Each year, his friends and colleagues raise funds in his memory through an annual fundraiser at the IAPD Annual Convention. Beginning in 2025, we are proud to present the first Howard J. Natal Scholarship in recognition of his enduring contributions.
About the Greg Berry Memorial scholarship
The Atlanta Plastics Charity Golf Tournament was founded by like-minded plastics professionals and led by Greg Berry to support members of the plastics community in the Atlanta, GA, USA area with unexpected needs. Over the years, their philanthropy expanded to help members of the plastics community all over the world and to fund the Greg Berry Memorial Scholarship. They named the golf tournament for Greg Berry after he passed away in 2008.
