We can’t wait to see you at the 67th IAPD Annual Convention + connecX in San Diego, CA, USA. This once-a-year event is crucial to making connections and building the relationships you need to succeed in the performance plastics industry. Plan to experience all that the convention has to offer, such as valuable keynotes, informative sessions and plenty of networking.
Here are the highlights planned for this year:
- Two exciting keynote presentations: Hear from Dr. Chris DeArmitt as he reveals the scientific facts countering common plastics misconceptions. The second keynote speaker, Super Bowl XVII winner Joe Theismann, will share his strategies for handling unforeseen change. You won’t want to miss them!
- Valuable educational sessions, covering topics such as federal legislation and regulations affecting our industry, working and connecting with people from different generations and creating a digital brand.
- An IAPD Plastics Political Action Committee (PAC) reception. Meet IAPD’s new government relations team, Ogilvy Government Relations, and learn how they are proactively telling our collective industry stories to protect and grow the performance plastics industry, and how you can help.
- An all-new format to enhance the benefits of the convention tradeshow! Based on your survey responses, we have moved the tradeshow to Wednesday instead of Thursday and reformatted the show floor to eliminate any “dead zones.” This new format will drive connecX attendance and will also give delegates breathing room between our amazing speakers and award ceremonies.
