  • General Purpose, Virgin: ST 8765
  • Premium, Virgin: ST 8764
  • Modified PTFE: ST 8790

Molded PTFE sheets up to 48″ x 48″ and up to 8″ thick. Skived PTFE films and sheets from 0.001″ up to .375″ thick. Molded rods and cylinders up to 62″ OD. Special lengths are available up to 30″ long.

Altamira Material Solutions provides more than 80 different formulations of PTFE-based compounds, molded into rods, cylinders or sheets. Additives (or fillers) are added to enhance certain properties PTFE does not excel at, such as wear resistance, hardness, electrical conductivity or thermal conductivity for example. Common fillers are glass fibers, carbon, graphite and bronze.

All products can be surface-treated in the company’s sodium-ammonia etching process for bonding to other substrates. In addition, they have a wide range of machining capabilities to transform basic shapes into complex parts. Their state-of-the-art machining capabilities can hold extremely tight tolerances.

To ensure they are doing their part to protect the environment, Altamira recycles all of its PTFE process waste.
