PLASKOLITE Introduces CELTEC White Expanded PVC Sheet
PLASKOLITE has announced the launch of CELTEC White, a new expanded PVC sheet developed for the sign and graphics market. The product was debuted at the ISA International Sign Expo 2025 in Las Vegas.

CELTEC White is the latest addition to the CELTEC family, which includes five product variations offering different colors, textures and performance characteristics. The new sheet is engineered for digital printing, offering a refined white point to support vibrant, true-to-color graphics. It features consistent density, is available in multiple sizes and thicknesses and incorporates up to 30% recycled content from post-industrial and post-consumer sources.

Recommended applications include signage, point-of-purchase displays, dimensional letters, store fixtures, exhibits, kiosks, wayfinding and monument signs. The sheet is designed for ease of fabrication, painting and laminating. www.plaskolite.com.

Primex Corporation Launches Prime Sulapac Bio-Based Thermoformable Sheets
Primex Corporation has introduced Prime Sulapac, a new line of thermoformable sheets made from Sulapac®, a bio-based composite developed by Finland-based Sulapac Ltd. The material combines wood from industrial side streams with biodegradable biopolymers to offer an alternative to conventional plastics, specifically for packaging and other thermoformed applications.

The sheets are industrially compostable and BPI certified, with high bio-based content and the ability to be mechanically recycled. According to the manufacturer, the material breaks down without leaving persistent microplastics or toxic substances, aligning with efforts to reduce environmental impact.

Prime Sulapac is designed to be a drop-in replacement for plastics like PS, PP and PET in applications such as packaging inserts, point-of-sale displays, single-use food packaging, blister cards and logistics trays. The material offers a smooth surface and natural aesthetic suitable for high-end uses.

In manufacturing settings, the product’s natural insulating properties allow for a wider processing window and more forgiving temperature tolerances than some other bio-based materials. It requires lower forming temperatures, enabling up to 20% energy savings and faster production cycles. www.primexplastics.com.
