MA Schelling panel saw systems are designed to process plastics, acrylic materials and composite panels that require precision cutting and careful material handling. The systems are used in applications where sensitive surfaces, chip reduction and dimensional accuracy are important to production efficiency and material performance.
The panel saws incorporate CLEAN-UP and dust-protection systems designed to support chip-free cutting while helping protect material surfaces during processing. Frequency-controlled digital drives allow operators to adjust saw blade speeds for a variety of plastic and composite materials, supporting improved cut quality and reduced material waste.
IMA Schelling offers multiple panel saw configurations for plastics and composite applications, including:
- Schelling fk4: 28.5 horsepower with cutting capacity up to 3.15 inches
- Schelling fk6: 36.2 horsepower with cutting capacity up to 5 inches
- Schelling fk8: 45.6 horsepower with cutting capacity up to 6 inches
- Schelling fk10: 73.8 horsepower with cutting capacity up to 8 inches and advanced automation features
The systems also feature automated material handling and optimized processing cycles intended to reduce primary and secondary run times in manufacturing environments. For more information visit www.imaschelling.com.
ylatech MD and Nylatech Blue are used in industrial applications that require durability, wear resistance and reduced maintenance downtime.
Nylatech Blue, a heat-stabilized grade of cast nylon, is used in elevated-temperature applications that require dimensional stability and wear resistance, including bushings, rollers and wear strips for ovens, kilns and industrial dryers. Manufactured from type 6 cast nylon, the material is designed to provide abrasion resistance, high tensile and compressive strength, reduced friction and easier machining compared with conventional metal materials. he Oasis Aquatics Center selected PLASKOLITE’s POLYGAL TOPGAL multiwall standing-seam panel system for a swimming pool roof replacement after the facility’s original POLYGAL roofing system remained in service for 23 years.
The standing-seam configuration eliminated the need for fasteners through the polycarbonate panels, helping reduce potential leak points while supporting structural performance across large spans. Additional features included ridge ventilation, shorter panel widths for transportation and handling and a design intended to reduce installation labor requirements. ubrizol is highlighting thermoplastic polyurethane, or TPU, physical foaming technologies designed to improve footwear midsole performance, manufacturing consistency and production scalability.
Lubrizol said TPU physical foaming also can help address limitations associated with traditional ethylene vinyl acetate, or EVA, chemical foaming systems. To support continued development, the company expanded its Foam Center of Excellence operations in Shanghai, in addition to existing facilities in South Korea. The centers support collaboration among material suppliers, processors, equipment manufacturers and footwear brands. For more information www.lubrizol.com.
