If you are in town and looking to have a drink or meet up with fellow convention delegates, you’re welcome to meet at the Driftlight Lounge in the JW Marriott Tampa for a casual evening. Drinks will not be hosted by IAPD.
Optional Volunteer Activity: Riverwalk Park
Clean Up
Tuesday, September 13, 2022 • 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Join Women in Plastics in cleaning up the Tampa USF Park on the Riverwalk! We are partnering with Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful as a part of their Trash Free Waters Program for this important service project. The program is designed to create more sustainable communities by focusing volunteer efforts on activities that impact individuals in need, lead to aesthetic community improvements and provide a positive environmental impact. A representative from Friends of the Riverwalk will be leading the cleanup.
- A T-shirt, trash bags, gloves and pickers for volunteers to use will be provided.
- All volunteers must wear closed toe shoes.
- Sunglasses, hats and sunscreen are recommended.
Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful requires a liability waiver that will be provided to you upon arrival. We will meet in the Lobby of JW Marriott at 8:30 a.m. and walk over to USF Park on the Riverwalk (0.8 miles/5 minutes) as a group. The clean up will end at 10:00 a.m.
Optional Tour: Raymond James Stadium

Experience the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the University of South Florida Bulls. The stadium also hosts the Outback Bowl, concerts, soccer events and monster truck shows. This private tour will offer behind the scenes access including the playing field, locker room, club lounge, suites and aboard the world-famous pirate ship. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
IAPD Plastics PAC Fundraiser
Tuesday, September 13, 2022 • 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Enjoy sipping on red and white while supporting the red, white and blue! Attendance at this event will help raise funds for the association’s Political Action Committee.
Our priorities cannot be accomplished without legislators who understand and hear from the performance plastics industry. What happens in Washington, D.C. affects our companies’ bottom lines.
The fee to attend is US$100 and will be billed on site at this reception.

Kickstart the week at the Welcome Reception at the Sunset Terrace at the JW Marriott Tampa Hotel. Enjoy meeting — or reconnecting with — your fellow industry peers. All convention delegates and spouses/companions are invited to eat, drink and celebrate!
IAPD Scholarship Fundraiser

In memory of IAPD Past President and IAPD Charitable Foundation Scholarship Committee Chair Howard Natal, the IAPD Scholarship Committee is hosting a special reception. This event will raise proceeds to benefit the IAPD Charitable Foundation. The suggested donation is US$50 per person to attend this fundraiser.
IAPD Convention Closing Party
