In February 2020, Röchling broke ground for a 75,000-square-foot warehouse in North Carolina. Construction was completed in December. This addition to the Dallas, NC, USA production facility features new Industry 4.0 warehouse automations and inventory management systems. “The addition of our new logistics center will provide the space to support growth and to better serve customers’ needs,” commented President Tim Brown. “Focused on optimization and automation, our goal is to improve flexibility, accuracy and the overall customer experience.”

The warehouse addition will expedite packing, reduce handling and allow Röchling to continue to provide the best service to its customers.

Blue is often the preferred color for applications in the food processing industry, as potential contaminant pieces are more easily identified by visual detection than traditionally white and natural-colored materials.

Sustarin^® C (acetal copolymer) FDA Blue is now available from stock, 4′ x 10′ sheets from ½”-2″ thick, with additional thicknesses up to 4″ available; rods are stocked in various diameters from 1″-4″, with additional diameters available, up to 8″.

In 2020, Röchling also introduced Fibracon^® Detectaflon, a PTFE-based, dual-detectable material. Perfect for applications in the food and beverage industry, this product protects against foreign contamination whether you have metal detection equipment, X-ray detection equipment or both.

Röchling’s proven and trusted UHMW material, Polystone^® M, is also now available in blue, the preferred color for food processing applications. Polystone M FDA Blue sheets are in stock in thicknesses from ¼” -2″.
