New products

Röchling stands for innovation in plastics, and in order to provide customers with state-of-the-art materials that meet the highest standards in the industry, they continually invest in new and innovative products and manufacturing technologies. This year Röchling added to its already extensive offering of FDA Blue products. Why blue? We’re glad you asked. Blue is often the preferred color for applications in the food processing industry, as potential contaminant pieces are more easily identified by visual detection than traditionally white and natural-colored materials.

Sustarin® C (acetal copolymer) FDA Blue is now available from stock, 4′ x 10′ sheets from ½”-2″ thick, with additional thicknesses up to 4″ available; rods are stocked in various diameters from 1″-4″, with additional diameters available, up to 8″.

In 2020, Röchling also introduced Fibracon® Detectaflon, a PTFE-based, dual-detectable material. Perfect for applications in the food and beverage industry, this product protects against foreign contamination whether you have metal detection equipment, X-ray detection equipment or both.

Röchling’s proven and trusted UHMW material, Polystone® M, is also now available in blue, the preferred color for food processing applications. Polystone M FDA Blue sheets are in stock in thicknesses from ¼” -2″.

Unique capabilities

Did you know that Röchling offers the largest compression molded sheet available anywhere? The 8′ x 20′ MegaSheet™ saves you time and money by eliminating welding, allowing more efficient yields and offering a wide variety of sheet-size possibilities. Polystone (UHMW, HDPE and PP) products, including LubX® C and Polystone M detectable products, are all available in the MegaSheet.
